Our award winning documentary Liemba has been invited to screen Saturday, August 18th on the deck of the Lilac, a historic ship and maritime museum, moored in downtown Manhattan. The evening will include music from the Afro-Caribbean experimental duo of Yvonne Ubillus and EfraĆ­n Rozas, This special event is open to the public and kicks off at 8 at Pier 23 in Tribeca. There will be a cash bar, so those under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Liemba will screen at Middlebury College, Green Mountain College and at the DocMiami festival in September.

Scored a video for the the Clark Art Institute. This video will play with eight other short videos scored by JB during the El Anastui Exhibition that runs from June 12th-Oct 16th, 2011 in the Stone Hill Center Gallery at the Clark Museum in Williamstown, Mass.

Liemba was awarded the Gold Medal for Excellence in Music for a Documentary Film at the Park City Film Music Festival in May!

Began videography this spring on the show Lake Region Fishing, which airs nationally on the Sportsman Channel.

Fold, Crumple, Crush; The Art of El Anastui, featuring an original Breadbox score, screens June 16th at 2 PM at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY. Additional screenings August 6th & August 11th.
